I’m Ian Clark. I live in Toronto, where I design highly responsive web apps.

I've been working with technology since I was 13, when I wrote my first program using Macromedia Flash. That early hands-on experience sparked a deep passion for programming.

During my time as a business analyst, I honed my ability to break down complex systems and translate user needs into actionable technical solutions. However, my true passion has always been development, so I shifted gears and focused entirely on coding. After making this transition, I spent some time in Peru working on other projects, discovering new passions like Ashtanga yoga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and expanding my perspective. This experience ultimately strengthened my problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Since returning, I’ve specialized in full-stack development with React and NextJS, and have worked on various projects that highlight my skills in creating highly functional, user-friendly web apps. I also utilize modern tools like Docker and Kubernetes to optimize backend performance.

I'm now seeking opportunities where I can leverage my technical expertise, combined with my analytical background, to contribute to a forward-thinking team and help deliver impactful digital solutions.
